This non-medical training is offered by the Postnatal Support Network (international non-profit association – head office Netherlands).
Training in France is organized by the Collectif Materner la Mère (association 1901 – CARENTOIR head office 56910).

Train postnatal Doulas to support and care for the postpartum mother.
Teach the importance of the 40 day period following birth.
Share physical, psychological and relational well-being tools for mothers.
These tools and good practices are based on ancestral and timeless traditions:
– Ayurveda, a science originating from India
– the practice of Yoga, basic notions
– the indigenous traditions of Latin America.

Works as a full spectrum Yoga Doula since 1978.

+ 3 hours of educational videos + 13 resource sheets to read 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 Tuesday 1 March 2, 2024 Tuesday March 19, 2024 Sunday April 4, 2024 Sunday April 21 , 2024 Tuesday April 30, 2024 Sunday May 5, 2024 Tuesday May 21 2024 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓 Part 1: 7 Thematic modules Each module includes: – 1 LIVE videoconference (Zoom) – Resource sheets to read and/or educational videos to watch (on Sutra) – Practical work to do at home + WhatsApp group dedicated to exchange and support Part 2: Practical internship of 40 hours of postnatal support at home – to be carried out with 1 or more new mothers (and families) – Internship report to be submitted within 9 months following the last module. 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐒 (Paris time) Tuesday evenings: 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Sunday mornings: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Postnatal Doula training is open to everyone.

Live presence is required for the 7 scheduled videoconferences.
To follow the videoconferences live:

– Organize a quiet, interference-free work space.
An investment of time and commitment on your part is essential.

Conditions for obtaining the End of Training certificate:
– Attendance at the 7 videoconferences s
– 100% viewing of educational videos and reading of resource sheets
– Completion of 40 hours of training with one or more new mothers ( and families)
– Written report including the summary of the practical work and the internship
