Biographical Info Being raised by a mother who believed rather in naturopathy and homeopathy than allopathic western medicine I "revolted" as a youngster by studying western medicine from 2005 on. During my studies I found that most of what is practiced in european hospitals and is more damage limitation than healing, so I decided to work in therapeutic and psychiatric sections, thinking it was a better possibility to help, never really feeling comfortable with the huge amount of medication and the little amount of time for the people. After a trip around the world, that strenghthend my perspective, I decided to become a yoga teacher after having practiced and studied on myself for several years before, and started to bring meditation and Yoga into the hospitals where I worked. In 2020 - in the middle of what one could call "Corona-Crisis", I had my first baby and experienced how it feels to be parents without support by anyone closely around and reflected a lot on it. It became very clear, that there is a huge lack of supportive networking in Germany and I developed the desire to help other mothers in need. One year later, still at home with my daughter and slowly feeling the wish to become more active, to start to work again, the doula formation of PSN "came to me" and it was absolutely clear, that this will be the next step. Right now I start building a women's circle where I live, close to Cologne and I have the vision to start building a local network of women helping women. Postnatal and also in general. Through my own experience as a mother I can very well sense the necessities during the postnatal time and through my experience in psychotherapeutic sessions I can help others to verbalize and communicate and reflect.
