In this summer edition of the PSN’s newsletter, we are happy to present to you Franck Depoilly’s work. Franck is a French artist living next to Lille.

He works alone and have been making pendant luminaires for twenty years. Graduated in the fine arts, he likes to discover new materials and forms: he works with stainless steel, paper or wire.

His personal experience of fatherhood pushed him to experiment beyond his usual topics and to create female figurative sculptures. Made from one piece of wire, his wall decorations represent pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Put on a base with a candle, these gentle forms draw a poetic shadow on the wall and become a real poetry of motherhood.
