Siri Amrit Khalsa will speak about “Finding balance in the work of a postpartum doula: How to care for others while still caring for ourselves” on Monday, October 09th, 2023 at 19h30 CET.

Here is her presentation:

My name is Siri Amrit Khalsa and I have been working as a doula since 2009, supporting families as they prepare for pregnancy, throughout their birth journey and in the first 40 days as new parents. Over the years, I have expanded my work to dive deep into the postpartum phase supporting families as a ‘kraamzorg’ (a maternity care provider) during the first 8-10 days after the birth. I am passionate about enabling each family to have a calm, warm and well supported start with their new baby. I hope to create more consciousness about the importance of this time and to support more professionals in guiding new parent’s as a practical trainer for Kraamzorg in the Netherlands and internationally as a trainer for the Postnatal Support Network as well as for the Yoga Doula School École Yoga Doula.
